Footage of the arrests showed the police talking to the alleged perpetrators in their living rooms.

A woman answered the door at the property where a man was charged, while another alleged perpetrator sat on a couch with children’s toys next to him.

A woman’s wig was also seen in the study of an alleged perpetrator’s home as detectives searched computers and laptops.

The six arrests coincided with Child Protection Week in Queensland, said Detective Acting Superintendent Glen Donaldson of the Argos branch of the Child Abuse and Sexual Crime Group.

“These arrests remind parents and caregivers of the dangers of online predators and how crucial trusted loved ones are in teaching children about privacy and personal safety and that nothing is so terrible that they can’t talk to them about it,” he said. .

The arrested men will appear in court later this month and in October.
