A sexual predator has been arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery of at least two women while wearing clown masks in California.
Joel Hernandez, 22, is accused of assaulting the women in Victorville earlier this week.
The first victim – a 54-year-old woman – told police he assaulted her while using an ATM while wearing a white clown mask and red shirt.

He stole $500 from her before fleeing.
Police tracked him down and later tied him up in a separate attack on a 50-year-old woman just minutes before the ATM attack.
In that case, the woman said he groped and sexually assaulted her in a parking lot before fleeing.
She identified him as her attacker. It is not clear exactly how he attacked her or whether he already has a criminal record.
Hernandez is now held on a $200,000 bond.
Police fear there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
