The development of the third feature of the series was revealed to the public in September 2019.

It was revealed that Jordan would make his directorial debut on the project the following year.

However, Stallone announced that he would not be returning to his old role for the third film last April.

Production continued without the actor and Jonathan Majors was cast as the film’s main antagonist, Damian Anderson, in November 2021.

Several artists from the previous Creed films returned to work on the new film, including Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Florian Munteanu.

Physical production on the feature began last January and continued for several months before the film crew wrapped up in April.

The world premiere of Creed III took place in Mexico City last month and opened in theaters in the United States on Friday.

The film has also been positively received by critics and currently holds an 87% rating on rotten tomatoes.
