The innovative inZOI 3D printer lets you upload a photo of anything – a beloved pet, a favorite piece of furniture – and it will use its AI powers to turn that two-dimensional object into a lifelike 3D object that you can then use in the game. The whole process takes less than a minute and works just like a real 3D printer, but this time the objects you create can be held by your characters.
That 3D printer really makes your game personal and opens up all kinds of creative possibilities that you can use to make the game truly yours. It also means you can throw yourself into the creative side of things and explore and discover new ideas and combinations.
Fully customization
The generative AI technology on the device can be used for all kinds of creativity. In addition to creating lifelike 3D objects from your 2D images, you can also use it to create your own custom patterns for your characters’ outfits, accessories, furniture, and other elements of the game. If you thought Animal Crossing was state-of-the-art, inZOI really raises the bar.
Once you’ve made your creations properly, you can easily show off and share them with other members of the community. inZOI comes complete with a platform called Canvas that allows for easy sharing and allows community members to rate and interact with your best creations.
inZOI is already very impressive, and there are more exciting options on the way. “We use AI to generate images, create 3D objects and generate dialogue stories, and we also develop motion generation,” says Hyungjun Kim. “We are also considering using AI to assist with decision-making based on Zois’ mental metrics.”
Make you more yourself
3D objects and objects are a lot of fun, but many games don’t let you make the in-game characters look like you. That’s another area where inZOI really excels. It offers many exciting ways to create your character, with a character studio that has over 250 different customization options – and those options go deep.
If you like to spend a lot of time creating new characters in games, you’ll love the possibilities that inZOI unlocks. You can adjust everything from the length of your hair to your fingernails so you can create the real you.
You can even use facial recognition on your iPhone, which will perfectly transfer your real expression to your inZOI character. And once you’ve created the physical traits, inZOI also offers over 400 mental elements that you can use to make your character’s personality just like yours – or to create a character completely different from you .
Once you’ve got everything looking beautiful with inZOI’s AI features, you can start exploring the incredible things you’ll find in its rich and immersive world. As you explore and interact with other Zois, you can learn about local fashion trends, share in-game memes on social media, gossip about rumors, and even inadvertently spread the flu – a great example of how realistic the world of ZOI can be.
Are you worried that AI features will cost extra? “All AI features in inZOI will be offered on the device for free,” Hyungjun Kim promises. “This has been a critical consideration for us. We believe that inZOI will continue to be a great game if everyone can enjoy it as a crucial tool.” Instead of seeing AI as a way for creators to make money, inZOI wants to use it “as a tool to make the game more accessible and fun for everyone.”
Breathtakingly beautiful
InZOI is built on Unreal Engine 5 and is simply breathtakingly beautiful and realistic. Each city location is inspired by real-world locations – locations such as the land of Dowon, which is inspired by the landscapes of South Korea, or Bliss Bay, inspired by the United States. Each city has its own extensive weather and seasons system, and you can even apply screen filters to change the atmosphere of the city.
What makes inZOI so great is that you can interact with others and make new friends in a world that resembles the real world at its best. Your actions shape your world through the accumulation of karma, and you can see tremendous life changes unfold. For example, news of your good deeds can spread to another player, that player can then share the story via text message, and your karma score can be automatically upgraded. It’s really nice to see how even a small innocent or not so innocent event can lead to big changes: think of the butterfly effect, but in gaming.
All these innovations make inZOI feel real, a living, breathing world in which you will love to lose yourself. It goes out of its way to make the game resemble human nature, right down to its unchanging trait: temperament. We all have a unique temperament and that concept is reflected in the game, where temperament remains the same while desires and ambitions are fulfilled, making everyone seem realistic, for better or for worse.
