Crazy moment man slaps BEAR to protect his girlfriend and dogs

>

Poignant video captured the moment a man bravely fended off a bear while walking his dogs with his girlfriend.

The clamp shows the man beating the beast, which looks like a North American brown bear – better known in his field for walking his two dogs.

He is joined by his girlfriend, who can be seen stunned behind the man as the bear attacks in the heart-pounding footage.

When the bear suddenly comes into view, the unidentified man lays eggs on the invading beast, trying to scare it away from his family.

After a few feints, the man, leashed in hand, throws a jumping right hook at the approaching animal and stops in its tracks as the hit lands.

The look seemed to stun the bear—along with the man’s stunned partner, who stands in awe of the man’s heroism as the bear cringes and runs away.

The clip opens with the man walking his dogs in what appears to be his shed, when he suddenly spots the bear, which is not yet in the camera's frame.

The man appeared to have suffered no injuries during the terrifying encounter – which was posted on TikTok by user Anthonymooren174 on Wednesday.

And thanks to his indomitable fighting spirit, his dogs and girlfriend were unharmed.

It was not immediately clear from the 47-second clip whether the fleeing bear had ever… caught, nor did it show where the terrifying encounter took place.

DailyMail.com reached out to the poster Monday evening prior to the publication of this article in hopes of getting more information about the incident.

The clip, meanwhile, has caught the eyes of millions of people who are fascinated by the man’s brave demeanor, who certainly saved not only himself, but also his furry companions and lover.

Since it was posted five days ago, the video has racked up an inspiring 3.1 million views.

The incident, which appeared to have occurred in the man’s barn, reminds us that proper fencing and protective measures are needed to protect property in the famous bear country.

Experts also advise that citizens in bear-populated areas always have some bear spray on hand, too, in the event of a sudden attack like the one seen in the horrifying — but oddly satisfying — clip.

Bears invading landowners’ property are not uncommon in certain states—with brown bears in particular, which are native only to Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming—as well as Alaska, off the U.S. mainland.

Brown bears, also known as grizzly bears, are considered the most dangerous bear species in the continental United States — beaten only by the deadly polar bear that roams the tundra of the Arctic.

Less dangerous is the distinctly smaller black bear, which has shorter claws and is more omnivorous than its often excitable cousin.

Black bears are also slightly more common, found in the states mentioned above, as well as others such as Florida.

Earlier this year, the internet was shaken after a similar incident in the Sunshine State, where a man was attacked by a black bear on his porch as he rushed to defend his dog.

The man, Walter Hickox, was bitten and scratched while battling the deadly predator at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Wednesday night.

Security footage installed on Hickox’s porch showed the man bravely leaping forward to push the black bear off his property as he came after his 12-year-old dachshund around 7:30 p.m.

Fortunately, he came out of the attack unscathed – he escaped the encounter with only a few cuts and bruises. Pepper, thanks to his father’s heroism, was OK too.

While it is common for both brown and black bears to invade outdoor areas, attacks are inherently rare.

On average, there are only about 40 brown bear attacks that occur around the world every year.
