Crazy Domains Adds GenAI to Its Website Builder

Crazy Domains, one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest domain and hosting providers, is the next to add generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to its website builder.

This new feature, called AI Website Builder, is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) take their first steps into website building, making it less intimidating. The company hopes this will help position it among some of the best website builders for small businesses on the market.

“A challenge many SMBs face when setting up an online presence is not knowing where to start,” the company said in a press release shared with Ny Breaking. “It can be daunting and time-consuming for business owners trying to find a domain name, create a logo, build a website, and write content for that website. With AI Builder, Crazy Domains customers can get a professional website in minutes.”

GenAI goes mainstream

Explaining how the new feature works, Crazy Domains says that the AI Website Builder comes equipped with an “intuitive onboarding assistant” that can streamline the entire website creation process. Users start by selecting their business category, specifying a website name, adding contact information, and specifying their content preferences.

Apparently, GenAI will come back within minutes with websites ready to publish, all with AI-generated content, sections, and calls-to-action (CTAs) designed specifically for the website’s users.

With this latest announcement, Crazy Domains has joined its peers in integrating artificial intelligence into the website building process. Less than a month ago, Bluehost announced a similar feature called Bluehost AI Website Creator, part of its WonderSuite offering.

Much like Crazy Domains, Bluehost AI Website Creator first asks its users to answer a series of short questions, after which it comes back with a few versions of a WordPress website. All of the suggestions can then be customized in a variety of ways, from color schemes to fonts and sizes, to the actual content that is produced.

Many other top website builders, including Wix, Duda, Hostinger, and Squarespace, also allow users to use AI when building websites.
