The infamous British dating show Naked Attraction, featuring full frontal nudity, has quietly made its US debut on HBO Max – and viewers are already furious.
Naked Attraction, which has been gracing the screens across the pond for eight years, presents six naked people to one contestant, who gets to narrow down their choices and ultimately go on a date with their favorite.
The competitors first show their feet and calves, then a screen slowly reveals their genitals, torso, chest area and finally their face during the rounds.
While criticizing the naked male or female bodies, the person who chooses their date also undresses to level things out.
The full nudity, while relatively well received in Britain, has caused a stir after making its way to HBO Max in the US.

People insinuated it was an American problem, with Britain more open to such ideas: ‘Waaaaaaaait!!!!! What is this show #NakedAttraction on Max. What a bizarre concept! This wouldn’t work in oppressed America.”
And another person said: ‘This show called Naked Attraction on MAX is wild. Why am I looking at a random penis before 10am? LOL.’
While another said: ‘I’m watching Naked Attraction and let me say…. British people. You guys are all trash, just like the rest of us.”
A fourth person added: ‘Y’all don’t watch Naked Attraction on HBO? This is the wild. And they don’t fade anything.”
And an American viewer said: ‘My sister just sent me to this ‘naked attraction’ show and this is the craziest s**t I’ve EVER seen on TV. I would absolutely love to be judged naked before any little one sees my face/hears my voice. seems liberating.’
The View host Whoopi Goldberg even asked during Monday’s show, “Do people actually want to see this?” Evidently!’

Alyssa Farah Griffin then said the concept was “terrible” because the contestants’ bodies are “slowly panned” while another person judges them purely on their bodies.
Conservative watchdog group Parents Television Council has criticized HBO/Max for adding the show to its service: “Naked Attraction should not exist on the Max streaming platform, and HBO should immediately remove this exploitative, pornographic program.”
‘Max has mediocre parental controls, giving kids access to some of the most explicit streaming content on the market.
‘There is no doubt that children will have easy access to Naked Attraction, with the aim of shocking and titillating audiences with uncensored and explicit nudity.

The View’s Sunny Hostin admitted that she binge-watched the entire season in one day because she loved the show so much. The View host Whoopi Goldberg even asked, “Do people really want to see this?” Evidently!’
“And in a new low for HBO, the show completely exploits its own participants, somehow convincing them that their exploitation for the purpose of dating is right and good.
‘HBO has now lifted its own veil and revealed that it is and always has been a porn channel.”

“American prejudices about sex are so immature and shameful.”
