Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is reportedly coming to Xbox Game Pass next month.
This comes from reliable leaker ‘eXtas1s‘ (through VGC) claims that Vicarious Visions’ 2017 platformer will debut on Xbox Game Pass on August 8.
The same leaker shared this claim earlier this month, but was unable to provide a release date. At the time, eXtas1s said that the trilogy – which includes remasters of Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes BackAnd Distorted would be the next Activision game to appear on the service. They said they had spoken to sources who had seen “certain graphical evidence” indicating the game would be released later this year, along with other Activision games on Microsoft’s subscription service.
EXtas1s also said that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy “coming very soon,” but could not “guarantee that they will arrive at the service in the same month.”
The leaker is also accurate predicted the most recent launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on Game Pass, which was released on July 24. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 The game is also expected to be available to all members on day one of Xbox Game Pass when it launches on October 25, making it the first new game in the series to be brought to the service.
Following the company’s acquisition by Microsoft last year, Diablo4 was the first Activision Blizzard game added to Xbox Game Pass in March.
Microsoft is reportedly considering adding more subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass, including an ad-based subscription and a “cheaper” cloud-based subscription. This comes just weeks after the company raised the prices of all of its subscriptions.
The cloud-based tier is said to be designed for users who don’t want to buy an Xbox console, while the ad-based tier is aimed at those who would rather not pay anything at all. This is something Microsoft is “actively working on right now.”
