A young mother and a Sudanese refugee have been mowed down by a car in a suspected collision on the streets of a Sydney suburb.
Shocked neighbors told Ny Breaking Australia they heard ‘fighting’ just hours before 27-year-old Arek Adwal was found lying in a gutter on Sherringham Road, Cranebrook near Penrith, bleeding heavily shortly before 4am on Friday morning.
The young mother-of-two was found just 100 meters from her McGann Street home.
It is unclear who was responsible for hitting Ms Adwal and whether the driver who hit her is the same person she had gotten into an argument with hours earlier.
Court records reveal Ms Adwal is embroiled in a messy personal situation – with a restraining order against her lover, Noreen ‘Noxie’ Munoirirwa, 36
Ny Breaking Australia is not suggesting Ms Munoirirwa was involved in the suspected collision.

Residents recalled Ms Adwal walking down the street to her home around midnight before hearing a fight outside the property at around 1am.
Three hours later they were woken by the sound of screaming as Ms Adwal was hit by the car.
The injured mother of two is said to have been the one who called Triple-0 afterwards.
Emergency responders arrived to find that Ms. Adwal was missing her right index finger and had serious head and hand injuries.
It is unclear whether she suffered her hand injuries during the collision or sometime before that.
She was rushed to Nepean Hospital where she remains in stable condition.

Neighbors told Ny Breaking Australia Ms Adwal moved into the house with her young twin sons more than 18 months ago.
Court records show Ms Adwal has an active AVO against Ms Munoirirwa, which was terminated in January.
The case is still in court, with the most recent hearing just three days ago.
Earlier this month, Ms Munoirirwa pleaded guilty to three charges of breaching an AVO and was fined $750.
As the hunt for the driver continues, two crime scenes were set up on Friday: one at the crash site and one at Ms Adwal’s nearby home. Officers searched the area for evidence.
A neighbor described Mrs. Adwal as a “nice lady” who has had a hard life.
He said he often saw her and Ms Munoirirwa, neither of whom work nor drive, in the yard with Ms Adwal’s sons.
‘She’s really nice. Sometimes I mow her lawn,” he said.
The investigation is still ongoing.
