Craig David reveals his upcoming show in Sussex has been CANCELED due to ‘unexpected circumstances’
Craig David canceled his upcoming show next weekend and is taking to Instagram on Friday to share the disappointing news with fans.
The singer announced that he will not take the stage at Wiston Estate Park for Wiston Summer Sounds on Friday 8 September due to “unexpected circumstances”.
The 42-year-old did not specifically explain why he would cancel the show, but assured fans that all tickets would be refunded.
Craig will perform at Pub In The Park in St Albans on September 9 before flying back to Ibiza for Ibiza Rocks the following week.
On Instagram he wrote: ‘Due to unexpected circumstances, next week’s show on September 8 at Wiston Estate Park for Wiston Summer Sounds has been unfortunately cancelled.’

“Contact your point of purchase for a full refund of your tickets.”
He continued, “I hope to see you all again soon. All my love Craig xx.”
The star also reposted the same statement on Twitter, where he was flooded with support.
One fan wrote, “I hope you are well my friend and if not sending you huge amounts of love x.”
Another wrote, “Hope you and your family are well. Big hugs.’
Still, the cancellation was beyond Craig’s control and was not his decision.
All acts scheduled to perform at the event have been canceled due to a suspected venue issue.
The event organizers also released a statement explaining that the cancellation was due to “unexpected circumstances” that affected the event’s schedule.
Craig would take his world famous TS5 live show from Miami to West Sussex for just one night for the Wiston Summer Sounds festival.
The set mixes massive old skool anthems from R&B to Swing, Garage to Bashment, with the latest chart hits from House mixed in.

Official: It appears Craig had no control over the cancellation, after the event also issued a statement explaining it was due to circumstances affecting the event’s schedule
They wrote: ‘It is with great disappointment that due to unexpected circumstances which have had a significant impact on our schedule, working tirelessly to explore all possible avenues to make the concerts work in their current form, we are unfortunately unable to will be to continue with Wiston Summer Sounds 2023.
‘Customers will receive a full refund, you will receive an email from our ticket agents for confirmation.
