Tom Brady was unable to stay consistent on offense and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense was unable to slow down the Dallas Cowboys as Dallas seemingly scored at will, winning 31-14.

Brady attempted a staggering 66 passes, but only completed 35 of them for 351 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

His counterpart, Dak Prescott, completed 25 of 33 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns on a flawless caller night for the Cowboys.

It was a night to forget for Tom Brady, who made just 35 of 66 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Dallas.

Meanwhile, Dak Prescott had one of the best games of his career, completing more than 75 percent of his passes and four touchdowns.

Dallas opened the scoring with a completion to dominant tight end Dalton Schultz to open the scoring at 6-0

A theme for the night would be the trials and tribulations of kicker Brett Maher, who missed the extra point after this TD.

Brady and the Buccaneers drove the length of the field and looked ready to respond, but Jayron Kearse intercepted him.

Dallas responded with a 15-play, 8:38 drive that ended with a Dak Prescott bootleg in the end zone to go up 12-0.

But Maher missed a second time. Overall, he would miss four PAT attempts, becoming the first kicker to do so in a playoff game.

Dalton Schultz caught Dallas’ third straight touchdown to go up 18-0 before the first half drew to a close.

Dallas scored a fourth straight touchdown as Prescott found Michael Gallup to go up 24-0 early in the third quarter.

Tampa Bay finally got on the board with the last play of the third quarter when Brady found Julio Jones in the end zone.

But Dallas never took its foot off the gas, responding immediately with a pass from Prescott to a wide-open CeeDee Lamb.

A scary moment occurred late in the fourth quarter when Donovan Smith (6) threw this punch to wide receiver Russell Gage (17).

Gage was taken to the hospital after the game, diagnosed with a concussion. He has movement in his extremities and is being further examined for head and neck injuries, according to Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles.

Once Gage was carried off the field, Brady found Cameron Brate for a touchdown, then Mike Evans for a two-point conversion.

But a late attempt by the Buccaneers to try and score a final touchdown got away from them late in the game.

This is a developing story. More to come.
