Cowboys star surprises reporter with hilarious gift after X-rated gesture during furious postgame spat

Trevon Diggs has buried the hatchet with a reporter after their angry postgame argument left the Cowboys star grabbing his crotch and saying, “Talk about deez nuts!”

The cornerback confronted WFAA reporter Mike Leslie outside the locker room after Dallas’ 30-24 loss to San Francisco on Sunday night.

They got into an argument over a play when Nine tight end George Kittle caught a pass and looked for a big gain – while Diggs appeared to be jogging.

Footage showed an irate Diggs confronting Leslie over a social media post about the play. “You don’t know football, you can’t do anything I do,” Diggs said before adding, “Talk about deez nuts!”

But on Wednesday, Diggs apologized to the journalist and even gave him a gift: some nuts.

Earlier this week, Diggs gave his side of the story on the podcast “The Edge with Micah Parsons.”

The cornerback insisted the reporter’s post was “unnecessary” and was merely an attempt to use “my name for clicks.”

“I went to him and just told him how I felt,” said Diggs, who admitted he was going through “a lot of emotions” after the loss to San Francisco.

“I just let my emotions get the better of me,” Diggs said.

But at the end of the day, it’s still not right for someone to just say something, just try to throw dirt on your name or make you feel like you’re doing a bad job or you’re doing a bad job, because I felt like that I played my most difficult match yesterday.’
