Cowboys’ Micah Parsons is MetLife Stadium turf’s latest victim, fans say after Dallas’ injury-plagued win over New York Giants
MetLife Stadium has become infamous for being one of, if not the worst, playing field in the NFL. Thursday night’s game between the Cowboys and Giants was a good example of this.
Two big stars for the Dallas Cowboys left the game with injuries, directly due to the quality of the grass in Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs.
Parsons was last seen getting onto a medical cart with his shoe and sock on his left foot.
Diggs was injured while attempting to make a tackle and was left on the turf in pain for a moment, but did not return to the match.

“That area at MetLife should be banned. It’s actually outrageous how many lower body injuries occur there,” said a football fan on X.
“Unreal that in 2024 they are still playing NFL games every week on this MetLife property,” said another person on social media.
“You could argue that it’s actually criminal to still allow NFL football to take place on MetLife property. John Mara is responsible, so he must relinquish control of the franchise before being put behind bars for life.”

Former New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard may know the dangers of MetLife Stadium better than anyone.
The now Buccaneers practice squad member suffered serious season-ending injuries due to the turf in 2021 and 2022.
It was also the scene of Aaron Rodger’s infamous Achilles tear, who started his career with the New York Jets a year ago.
It is unclear how long Parsons and Diggs will be out of action. The damage has already been done and the growing list of players injured on the MetLife Stadium lawn only continues to grow.
