Cowboys fans rage with NRL officials after a seemingly obvious forward pass from Mitchell Moses was not followed up by the bunker in their crucial preliminary final against the Eels.
Brad Arthur’s side took an early lead in Townsville after Will Penisini broke through following a good interplay between the Parramatta backs led by halfback Moses.
Replays, however, suggested a key pass from the 28-year-old wandered forward, but the bunker chose not to judge the incident and awarded the try to the Eels as the pass didn’t lead to the score right away.

NRL fans took to Twitter to berate officials for missing a clear forward pass from Mitch Moses
Things got worse for the home side with Jason Taumalolo being sent to the sin bin by video officials after hitting Isaiah Papali’i on the head with his shoulder.
“Another embarrassing look for the NRL officials,” said one fan. “Big game and big decisions are wrong…again.”
Can someone explain why the bunker is not allowed to decide on possible forward passes leading up to a try? Real question,’ said another.
One fan took the dubious appeal even harder, saying, “Forward pass by a mile. [A] blind man could see that.’
Meanwhile, a Twitter user got creative with Photoshop and edited a photo of an NFL quarterback with Moses’ face on it.
