Eerie final post of Aussie DJ Courtney Mills before she fell to her death from a balcony in Bali – as details emerge about her close brushes with death years earlier

An Australian DJ and OnlyFans star who fell to her death from a balcony shared a post a few days earlier as she danced next to a balustrade.

37-year-old Courtney Mills was visiting her two dogs in Bali when she fell from a balcony at an apartment complex in Kuta on Friday.

She suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital before undergoing several emergency surgeries when she died two days later surrounded by loved ones.

In Ms Mills’ last post on her Instagram page, shared five days before her death, she danced to Aqua’s 1990s hit Barbie Girl and blew a kiss to her followers.

The post has resurfaced after it emerged that Ms Mills had escaped death twice years before her fatal dive.

The 37-year-old’s mother, Diane, and sister, Kiani, flew to Bali to stay by her side in hospital.

“After multiple surgeries and life support, she lost the fight at 6:38am Bali time,” Kiana wrote online.

“We are so grateful to all of them and their continued care for Court while she was in the hospital.”

In Courtney Mills’ latest video, she danced on the edge of an indoor balcony in a pink bikini

Friday’s tragedy struck less than two years after Ms Mills fell down a flight of stairs in Bali in 2023, resulting in a bleed on the brain.

Ms Mills was also involved in a scooter accident that seriously injured her ex-boyfriend while she was in Bali for a wedding in 2018.

The video of Ms Mills dancing in a pink bikini has since been flooded with condolences.

‘I still can’t believe the news. A talented DJ and individual gone far too soon. RIP Courtney,” one commenter wrote.

‘She seemed so happy. Sad news and at such a young age.’

Ms Mills lived in Bali for several years, which she considered her second home, before returning to Melbourne and living with her family.

The much-loved DJ spun tunes at some of Melbourne’s top nightspots, including Metropol, Cushion, Secret Garden, Hotel Barkley and Motel Eve, before launching an international career.

“She was beautiful, big-hearted, happy and lucky,” her mother Diane Mayne said Nine news as she fought back tears.

“She lived life to the fullest. She has had a full life and we are happy about that.’

Ms Mills’ sister Kiani added that authorities have confirmed her death was an accident.

“It’s just the sadness and grief of a life lost far too soon,” she said.

“She was very happy, and it showed in the music she produced and the fans she had.”

“As soon as she got behind those decks, it was like nothing else in the world mattered.”

Kiani told the Herald Sun: ‘The greatest thing we have been able to do over the last few days is sit and reminisce about the incredible life she led and how full her life was.’

“She would drive for hours and hours just to DJ for an hour.

“She flew across the country to do the work she loved so passionately, and for her it wasn’t a job, it was a life.

“Being behind those decks was her sense of freedom and we saw her light up the rooms.”

Even more of Ms Mills’ loved ones shared their grief online following her sudden death.
