Courtney Cox holding seances with friends to contact Matthew Perry over ‘unanswered questions’

Courteney Cox has tried to contact her late co-star Matthew Perry ‘several times’ since his death last year.

The Friends actress, 60, has been gathering loved ones for Ouija board nights as she reportedly believes there are “unanswered questions” about his life and death.

Perry died at the age of 54 in October 2023 after being found unconscious in a hot tub at his LA home.

“Courteney has gathered a bunch of friends and hosted Ouija board nights several times to connect with Matthew,” an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com.

“She thinks there are still a lot of unanswered questions about his life and death, and she wants to get to the bottom of it.”

Courteney Cox has tried to contact her late co-star Matthew Perry ‘several times’ since his death last year, insiders have told DailyMail.com.

It was determined that Perry’s death was caused by “acute effects” of ketamine, which is used as an anesthetic and as a treatment for depression, anxiety and pain.

In August, five people were arrested for allegedly supplying Perry with the drug.

Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, alleged drug dealers Jasveen “Ketamine Queen” Sangha, 41, and Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, have all been charged.

The source claims Cox’s attempts to make contact have failed, but she is determined to continue.

“So far the Scream star has been unable to contact Matthew, she plans to continue the séances until she does,” she added.

Cox is no stranger to the supernatural, having previously taken part in a séance with songwriting legend Carole King.

The actress once moved into a house in Los Angeles’ Laurel Canyon — previously owned by King and Gypsy Rose Lee — that she thought was haunted.

“So Carole King came to my house and she said there had been a really ugly divorce and there was a ghost in the house,” Cox told Jimmy Kimmel in March 2022.

She said she moved out the day after a UPS driver claimed he knew the house was haunted because he could see a figure standing behind her when she opened the door for him.

The Scream actress was among Perry’s costars who celebrated the one-year anniversary of his death on Monday.

Cox shared a throwback photo of himself and the late actor on Instagram, writing, “I miss you today and always.”

Jennifer Aniston, 55, also posted a series of never-before-seen photos alongside the name of his foundation and the words: “1 year.”

Matt LeBlanc, 57, looked disheveled hours after the anniversary, which was one of the few public appearances he has made since Perry died.

The footage raised concerns that he may be “unraveling.”

DailyMail.com reported that the former Joey star has quietly retired following Perry’s death, reaffirming how ready he is to reevaluate his life.

“Matt is still upset about the loss of Matthew,” the source said. ‘Such an important part of his life and a good friend are no longer there.

‘It made him reconsider his life. He wants to focus on other interests because that is what he finds important at the moment.’

LeBlanc has not appeared in any film or TV projects since the 2021 Friends HBO reunion special, previously saying he was “taking some time off.”

His last acting appearance was as Adam Burns in the CBS series Man with a Plan between 2016 and 2020.
