Couple shocked to find Stanley cup completely untouched after fire destroys their entire home

A couple were shocked to find their Stanley cup completely untouched after a fire destroyed their entire home.

Alexus Wilkins, from Denton, Georgia, took to TikTok earlier this week to share her devastation after her house burned down.

Not only did she and her fiancé, Hunter Pittman, lose their entire residence, but virtually all of their belongings were destroyed in the fire…except for one item: their Stanley cup.

The couple were stunned to discover that the bottlenose dolphin was in near-perfect condition despite the destruction.

Alexus made a short post clamp to the video streaming platform that showed her walking through the remains of her home.

She picked her way through debris and soot before turning the camera on Hunter, who held up the pristine tumbler, the Stanley X Lainey Wilson Country Gold.

“When your house burns down and you go back to find something specific…” she wrote.

The Georgia native then took a close-up video of the cup, which was covered in dirt but had no dents, scratches or burn marks.

“IN THE LAINEY WILSON STANLEY WE TRUST,” she captioned the clip.

Alexus’ TikTok immediately went viral, racking up over 12 million views within days.

Many viewers were impressed with the durability of the Stanley cup and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Petition to Stanley to build houses,” one person wrote.

“Stanley needs to make lockers right now,” another user agreed.

“Note to self: keep valuables in a Stanley cup,” someone else joked.

“This is good marketing for Stanley,” read a fourth comment, while a fifth said. “That’s literally crazy.”

In one GoFundMe For the couple, Alexus’ sister explained that their house was “completely engulfed in flames,” causing them to “lose everything.”

Last February, a woman named Rachel claimed on TikTok that her Stanley saved her life after a stray bullet tore through the walls of her home and ricocheted off the popular tumbler.

Additionally, in November 2023, another TikToker, Danielle Marie Lettering, revealed that a car fire burned her vehicle but left the insulated container completely intact.

She added that Alexus was “luckily” at work when it happened and that Hunter and his grandmother were home but “got out of it.”

Unfortunately, she said some of their dogs “couldn’t be saved.”

“They have all worked so hard for the things they have and continue to do so every day,” she wrote.

“We are grateful that everyone made it out alive, but they need all the help they can get.

‘Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please lift them up in your prayers.”

This isn’t the first time a Stanley cup has survived something horrific.
