A couple are shocked to discover the ‘carnal’ origins of a surprising encounter at their quaint French vacation home.
Antoine, from Paris, recently went on a Christmas vacation with his boyfriend and his family and they rented a large villa in the French countryside, only to discover that the house was once a popular site for parties and orgies in the 1970s.
“When we walked in, we noticed that most of the ceilings were like mirrors and the house looked quite tacky,” he shared in a post. Facebook to post.

“The new owner told us his story and it’s quite strange: a gay Parisian couple won the lottery in the 70s and built this house to host big parties and orgies.”
He added: “Apparently it was a very famous place at the time.”
But the mirrored ceilings weren’t the only features that gave Antoine’s family pause.
‘Besides the ugly roof, the house was very strange. Huge with little windows, tiles on the outside walls and weird ceilings…’

Antoine shared several photos of the house, whose window-to-concrete ratio can look off-putting even to a novice architecture lover.
The exterior of the house was also trimmed with white ceramic tile that can be found in bathrooms, the cracks filled with discolored grout.
But the man assured his commenters that despite the loud story, his family enjoyed their time at the house and made wonderful memories.
“So to add some details for good measure, I am gay myself and my boyfriend stayed with us,” she wrote. “And even though it’s a very old and traditional family, my family is very open and has a great sense of humor, so we loved the origin story.”
“We have great memories of this Christmas and we all made great puns and jokes about the history and the house during our stay.”
