Country superstar and his actress wife are opening another free food store for those in need

Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley have shared some heartwarming news with their community.

Brad, 51, posted a video on Instagram in which Kimberly, 52, and the country singer shared the heartwarming news about the upcoming opening of a second The Store in Nashville during the organization’s launch event.

According to the brand’s Instagram account, The Store is a “community [that] empowers individuals and families seeking self-reliance by providing a dignified shopping experience.’

Kimberly explained in her moving speech, “We now serve over a thousand people a year at our original location. Our goal with this store is really for people to be able to shop with dignity and for us to help them get back on their feet so they don’t need us anymore.”

She continued, “This is not meant to be a long-term solution. This is meant to be an investment in the community, and then people can turn around and volunteer in the store. We need a lot of volunteers.”

The informational video began with Tom Ozburn, president and CEO of Centennial Medical Center: “I think you all know our mission: above all, we are committed to caring for and improving human life.

“The people who have a heart for service and a heart for their fellow human beings – Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.”

Brad took the lead role, explaining, “When we first had a vision for this — this thing — I was going to say charity again, but it’s more than that.

“This is something Kim came up with herself. In a way, she felt that our children were not behaving properly…”

Kimberly clenched her jaw in discomfort and gave a nervous smile.

He continued: ‘And [they] necessary to understand that there are people in need in the world.

“This is really something amazing because we get to partner with one of the most incredible hospitals and organizations.”

Kimberly added in her speech, “We are in the midst of a major campaign — a $5 million campaign to help pay for the construction and the first few years of operation.”
