Country singer Blake Shelton has confirmed he plans to release a new album in 2025, sharing his hopes and career goals for the coming year.

As part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve celebration, Blake, 48, joined Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson and Teddy Swims to talk about what he wants to accomplish in the next twelve months.

The God’s Country singer, who recently welcomed a new family member with his wife Gwen Stefani, said, “In the new year, I’m really looking forward to getting back on the road and touring again.

“And I think at some point – I have no idea when – but sometime in the next year I’m going to release an album – count on it!” Blake teased.

Thomas’ goal for 2025 also involved live performances, as he revealed, “I think this is a milestone for me next year…I’ve always wanted to headline a baseball stadium, and we’re going to do that. next year for the first time, that’s very exciting.’

The father-of-four, whose wife Lauren Akins admitted she hated him, continued: “It’s something we’ve been working towards our entire careers and that will probably be one of the most memorable moments of my career. So [I’m] I’m looking forward to it.’

Teddy Swims, who recently collaborated with Thomas on the song Somethin’ ‘Bout A Woman, said of the year ahead: “Trying to make sure that instead of planning so much, I think I’m in a really good place right now where There are always people making plans on my behalf, so I now try to be as present as possible at times.

“And I want to keep that current mentality at all times,” Teddy added.

Cody, who won the CMA Album of the Year last month, said of his upcoming concerts: “We’re playing bigger shows, so with the release of Leather: The Deluxe Edition, my goal is to make the setlist a little different, to have a a few different elements on stage that I haven’t had the chance to see yet.’

He then added his goals for 2025: ‘This sounds very cliché, but get back to my carnivore diet, get in better shape and ride more horses!’

Fellow country singer Hardy revealed, “This coming year I would really like to learn how to play the piano and get really good at it,” while Dasha’s goal had nothing to do with music at all.

‘I want to play more volleyball!’ the 24-year-old singer-songwriter admitted.

“I play in this rec league in Nashville, but I’m never home – but I’m home in January and February, so the girl goes to the gym to play volleyball!”

Ernest, who worked on Post Malone’s country album this year, also talked about his hopes for 2025, saying, “I want a song to be number one at Country Radio with my voice on it.”

Another singer who shared their goals for the coming year was Alanis Morissette, who admitted that she wants to “avoid beige foods.”

And Ja Rule said: ‘One goal I’m setting for myself in 2025: for me and my wife to take more vacations. I’ve been working really, really hard lately.

“I think I’ll take 2025 and take some more time and vacation,” the 48-year-old rapper added.

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 airs Tuesday, December 31, live on ABC starting at 8:00 PM EST and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
