As he took the stage at Wells Fargo Arena, McGraw paired his iconic cowboy hat and skinny jeans with a black Hawkeyes jersey.
“Let’s turn it up a bit, yeah,” the venue’s page captioned a clip of the show on Instagram. “Tim McGraw is representing the GOAT tonight in Des Moines!”
The Louisiana native also posted a photo of himself on stage praising Clark and her team.
“While I was in Iowa,” McGraw wrote. “Big year for @caitlinclark22 and @iowawbb.”

Clark surpassed ‘Pistol’ Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA scoring record earlier this month
The Hawkeyes are gearing up for the NCAA tournament after finishing the season 29-4
On March 3, Clark broke Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA scoring record. In a game against Ohio State, Clark surpassed Pistol Pete’s 3,667 career points by reaching 3,685.
The record stood for more than 50 years until Clark’s 35-point performance against the Buckeyes.
Clark is averaging 31.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game as a senior and will likely be the first overall pick of the Indiana Fever in April’s WNBA Draft.
The Hawkeyes enter the NCAA tournament with a 29-4 record and as the second-seeded team in the Big Ten. They face sixteenth-seeded Holy Cross in the opening round on Saturday.
Iowa reached the national championship game last year before losing to the LSU Tigers, led by Angel Reese.
