Counter-Strike 2’s release has brought with it some much-needed changes

Counterattack fans finally received some good news as Valve officially launched CS2 last night for everyone to enjoy, and thankfully the release comes with some much-needed changes.

For those who don’t know, CS2 is now available for free download on Steam. Unfortunately, it does mean that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is no longer available to play. While this is undoubtedly a sad idea, it’s fair to say that players have been itching for some serious upgrades for a while now.

To play CS2 is a breath of fresh air, not just because Valve has managed to stay true to the DNA of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive while polishing it for a new audience. From my time playing, even simple functions like the movement as your bunny jumps around the Dust II feel exactly as they should.

Although it is nice to have similarities with it CS:GA, this is technically a sequel, so it’s just as important for players to get some serious upgrades with the new FPS. Otherwise, it could fall into the same traps as Overwatch 2, as a sequel that some players think isn’t pulling its own weight.

Fortunately, there are a few nice upgrades that at least make matches a little more interesting. The way you handle smoke grenades is sure to make for some exciting competitive battles, as you can temporarily disperse the cloud by spraying bullets or using an HE grenade.

There’s also the brilliant introduction of a refund option when choosing your gear. At least now there’s a glimmer of hope if you can convince that one stubborn teammate to go eco (not spend their money on a lap) so that the whole team can fully buy (spend all their money on weapons) for the next round and can mess around. the opposition.

In addition, it is nice to see a visually sharper and more vivid image Counterattack, especially since many players have invested heavily in skins. Now, with the graphical upgrades, you can admire it in better detail. It will be interesting to see how the community tolerates these changes, no matter how small they seem.

For now, check out this fantastic one Steam games And FPS titles that are now available to play.
