Tom Brady gave a coy answer Thursday at a technical conference in Miami about not retiring and playing for the Dolphins.

When asked on stage if he will come out of retirement and play for the team, the 45-year-old did not directly answer, or even say no.

“You spend a lot of time in retirement, you call it home,” began a gift with Brady. “Is there any chance you’ll come out of retirement and play for the Finns?”

As the crowd cheered, Brady laughed before playing lots and lots for the Miami crowd below.

“Oh man, I will say now that I am not affiliated with any team anymore and while I have some ties to a few teams, I have some friends in the Dolphins that I really like.

“I wouldn’t say I always thumb for them, but I want my friends to do well.”

Brady retired from the NFL on February 1 after 23 seasons in the league culminating in seven Super Bowl titles – six with the Pats and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was the second – and apparently last – retirement of his career, after he hung up the helmet for 40 days in February 2022.

He gave up along the way and played again for Tampa during the 2023 NFL season amid a divorce from his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen.

The 45-year-old’s career ended with an emphatic 31-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wildcard round of the NFC playoffs.

Brady reportedly had discussions about playing for the Dolphins – for which the Dolphins lost their first-round pick in the draft this month.

The franchise “unauthorized communications” with Brady and current Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton between 2019 and 2022, according to the NFL.

As for Brady, the talks reportedly centered on talks about the future Hall of Famer becoming a limited partner of the team.

Contact with Brady was found to have occurred during the 2019 and post-season when he was with the Patriots, and during and after the 2021 season when he was with the Buccaneers.

Ex-New England quarterback turned radio announcer Scott Zolak said last month that a move to Mike McDaniel’s team is “definitely 100% in the game.”

Despite the inevitable rumors of the quasi-mythical figure returning to a league for which he has been synonymous for more than two decades, Brady seems relatively content with his new life.

He shared a compilation video of a pick-up soccer game and other golf course and beach activities with friends and family on Wednesday.

Brady also acquired partial ownership in the WNBA team, Las Vegas Aces, last month.
