Corrie viewers in shock as Stephen attempts to kill Rufus while Sarah flirts with baddie Damon
Coronation Street viewers were shocked when Stephen attempted to punch Rufus to death after he threatened to expose him on Monday.
Stephen tried to attack again after Rufus threatened to tell everyone about how he had been drugging Carla with LSD to take over the factory.
Rufus appeared in Underworld with an ultimatum for Stephen and ordered him to break the American contract and if he doesn’t play ball he will tell the beans about Carla.
A furious Stephen grabbed the gun closest to his hand and moved behind him ready to attack before being interrupted by a worker.

Meanwhile, Sarah Platt reached out to baddie Damon Hay in the most recent episode and apparently had no idea who he is.
Despite his recent drama with his brother Nick Tilsley, the pair had a drink and it wasn’t long before they were heading to their hotel room.
As the couple enjoyed a bottle of champagne in the room, viewers were quick to take to Twitter to say they felt an “affair” was brewing.

When the couple opened the fizz, Sarah quickly changed her mind after reading a note from her husband Adam Barlow, after their marriage recently fell apart.
She later joined her husband in the downstairs bar, learning that Damon is a new client of Adam’s at his law practice.
Sarah is less than impressed when she realizes that Adam is representing him, as they have an extremely awkward encounter.
She said, ‘You’re the guy who’s the drug dealer!’
Damon made a comment that he wouldn’t want Adam to represent him and Sarah quickly added, “Adam can represent whoever he wants, even people like you.”
Making sure not to cause a scene, Damon left, “I’ll get out of your way, nice to meet you…Sarah.”

Feeling happier, Adam asked if they should go up to the hotel room to enjoy the champagne (which she had already drunk with Damon).
She said, ‘No, let’s go home and have a quiet night. I have drunk the bottle of champagne’.
