Despite a knee injury threatening his presence, Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall is the second star to arrive at Brisbane Airport for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.

MailOnline has contacted Alan’s representatives for comment.
When he arrived Down Under, Alan adhered to ITV’s strict rules of not discussing his appearance on I’m A Celebrity until the official line-up was announced and insisted he was there for a golfing holiday.
He told MailOnline: ‘I don’t know what all the fuss is about, I’m here on a golf holiday. It’s a long way to travel for a golf holiday, but I’m an avid fan.’
When asked about his Coronation Street co-star Andy Whyment’s stint in the Jungle, he joked: ‘I wouldn’t take any of Andy’s advice! The plan is for me to live in luxury while I’m here.”
Alan updated his followers at the time he underwent the surgery.
He captioned one photo: “ACL reconstruction surgery. Well, on Friday I had ACL reconstruction surgery.
