There was mystery in the air when a group of Coronation Street favorites were photographed at a country hotel to film mystery scenes.

Tina O’Brien, 39, who plays Sarah Platt, led the arrivals in a gray Central Perk tracksuit from Friends brand under a long red puffer coat.

Her hair was styled in loose curls and she wore ruby red lipstick before filming her scenes.

What’s going on? Corrie’s Tina O’Brien sported glamorous hair as she joined Antony Cotton, Chris Gascoyne and Daniel Brocklebank to film ‘meaty’ scenes at a country hotel on Wednesday.

She was joined by Antony Cotton, 47, famous for playing the hapless bartender Sean Tully, who was also bundled up against the cold in a blue puffer coat.

She looked a little sad as she carried her lunch in her hand in a brown paper bag.

Sean was followed by Chris Gascoyne, 55, who plays Peter Barlow, who was dressed in a smart blue suit and had a briefcase in hand.

And finally, Sean’s former partner Billy Mayhew, played by 43-year-old Daniel Brocklebank, was also seen wearing a brown jacket over a gray suit.

The scenes (which could be a wedding scene) are likely to feature Daniel at the center because he recently said that his character will be part of a “meaty story.”

The actor teased big scenes to come in 2023, in a story that will play out over at least 12 to 18 months.

Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “We’re just at the start of a pretty big story for Billy, so I’m looking forward to the next 12-18 months.”

Teasing that it could involve exes Todd Grimshaw or Paul Foreman, he said, “Well, maybe you’re pleased, maybe you’re not.” I don’t know, I literally can’t give anything away!

He continued: ‘I’m in my ninth year here now. I have never worked anywhere for more than two years, ever. I’ve been doing this for a living for almost 30 years, but this is by far the longest I’ve worked anywhere. I love it here, I love it here.

He joked that he hopes they don’t kill him because he has a ‘mortgage to pay’.
