Coronation Street’s Rebecca Ryan revealed she is pregnant with her second child in a sweet Instagram post on Saturday.
The soap actress, 33, who played Lydia Chambers in Coronation Street from 2021 to 2022, playfully joked about her exciting news, claiming that ‘sleep was overrated’.
Rebecca is about to give birth to her second child after she and her husband Dan Acraman, whom she married in September 2022, welcomed their first in April 2023.
The TV star revealed her jovial news to her followers and shared a series of beautiful snaps in which she proudly showed off her blossoming baby bump.
She captioned her album, “Sleep overrated anyway, here comes baby #2” alongside a red heart emoji.
Her friends and family flocked to her comment box to congratulate the actress.

Rebecca’s brother, Jack James Ryan – who starred in Coronation Street as Jacob Hay from 2021 to 2023 – was among the responses.
He wrote: ‘I can’t wait to meet my new best friend.’
Glamor model Rhian Sugden added: ‘Here she issssss!’ alongside a series of heart-eyed emojis.
Meanwhile, a fan typed: “Awhhh amazing, congratulations everyone” alongside red heart emojis.
Rebecca’s news comes almost two years after she welcomed her first baby.
At the time, she shared an adorable photo of her daughter cuddled in a white blanket and sleeping in a striped onesie as she announced her baby’s arrival.
In an accompanying caption, Rebecca revealed that she and her husband Dan had named her baby daughter Aurora.
She wrote: ‘Welcome to the world my beautiful girl Aurora.’

And Julia Goulding, who plays Shona Platt in the show, said: ‘Huge congratulations, she’s gorgeous.’
Rebecca rose to fame in Channel 4 comedy series Shameless and is now known for her role as Lydia Chambers in the ITV programme.
