Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn CONFIRMS romance with Ricky Rayment as the couple go Instagram official with loved-up snaps on Valentine’s Day
Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn and Ricky Rayment announced their relationship on Wednesday by going Instagram official.
The former soap star, 30, played Sinead Tinker in the ITV soap until 2019, while former TOWIE star Ricky, 33, starred in the reality show of 2012 to 2015.
The loved-up duo took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day and announced their romance in a joint post, sharing a slew of snaps together.
Katie and Ricky sealed the deal in one fell swoop with a sweet kiss, while in another time they enjoyed a romantic midnight dip in a jacuzzi.
They both captioned the post: “Everyday is like Valentine’s Day with you #valentinesday.”

In photos obtained by The sun On Tuesday, the new couple were seen holding hands as they enjoyed a day of shopping in Essex.
Katie, who lives in Manchester, has been dating Ricky for the past four monthsAn onlooker told the publication: ‘They looked very much like girlfriend and boyfriend.’
“They held hands, laughed and even kissed a little as they walked among Saturday afternoon shoppers.”
They added: ‘We noticed them as they walked out of Hotel Chocolat. Ricky must have bought Katie an early Valentine’s Day gift because he was carrying a bag there. They looked very happy together.’
Ricky was previously engaged to Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson, who has since tied the knot with new boyfriend Casey Johnson.
They were got engaged to the Geordie Shore star after just four months of dating in 2015, but their whirlwind romance ended two months later.
Marnie has since moved on with X Factor star Casey, with the couple sharing three-year-old son Rox and two-year-old Oax.
During his time on reality TV he famously dated Jess Wright, but split after two years of dating in 2014, before dating Marnie for six months.

Following her split from Ricky, Marnie revealed how the former TOWIE lad lashed out at her after she decided to call off the engagement and allegedly called her ‘a slag about 5,000 times’.
She said: ‘When we broke up he called me every name under the sun and called me a snail about 5,000 times. He told me he always thought things like that.’
Marnie explained that the reason behind the decision to call off the wedding – which they were keen to host in 2016 – was because the ex-ITVBe star claimed they were spending ‘too much time together’, despite dating lived on the other side of the country.
Ricky later spoke about the romance, as he said: ‘She got really drunk and then in my mind I was like, “F**king hell, she could do anything”‘.
“She seems to think it’s okay to hang out with her friends. But in a way it’s like cheating. I wasn’t that into her when she went out.’
Marnie has been in a relationship with singer Casey since 2017 and met on the set of MTV reality dating show Single AF.
She would be overjoyed after her big day on Wednesday, she says OK!: ‘We’ve finally tied the knot – we’re over the moon!’.
The couple were forced to postpone their wedding in 2021 due to ongoing Covid restrictions, before walking down the aisle in March 2023.
