Coronation Street star Adam Hussain has sparked rumours he is set to leave the cobbles after a series of hints on social media.
The 23-year-old actor has played Dev Alahan’s son Aadi since 2020, but fans are beginning to suspect that he is being written out of the series.
Adam hasn’t had a storyline on the soap since January, when he was rushed to hospital in dramatic scenes.
However, fans of the star have already picked up signs that he is leaving the soap opera, with reports that he will be starring in a film for a new production company and posting scenes from acting lessons.
He later also posted new portrait photos on his Instagram page, something actors often do before changing gigs.

Under one of the messages with his acting videos, a fan asked: ‘Is that the reason you’re not in Corrie?’
Despite Adam responding to comments from other fans, he did not respond and answer the question.
The actor’s scenes have been minimal since January, when he was rushed to hospital after passing out from carbon monoxide poisoning.
It was revealed on Monday that Calum Lill, who plays villain Joel Deering, is also leaving the cobbles – and that he will film his final scenes in the coming months, according to The sun.
Following the latest reports, Bill Fellows, who plays Stu Carpenter, is also said to be leaving the show.
The soap eventually revealed that Joel was abusing young girls and also tried to murder Lauren Bolton.
Joel drugged Lauren and tried to kill her baby, but his plan backfired when she went into labor and the baby survived.
Now his journey is in danger of falling apart when his fiancée Dee-Dee begins to question his lies, leading to his shocking departure.

A source told the publication: ‘Calum has had a huge impact as Joel over the past year, but he always knew it wouldn’t be a temporary one.
“He played Joel great, but all good soap villains get what they deserve and Joel will get his comeuppance soon.”
‘He already has his first job lined up after the show, so he’ll be ready in time to start rehearsals.
‘But in the film, Joel has no idea what awaits him as his dark secrets are increasingly revealed.’

Calum already has a new role lined up: he will appear in the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk in Bournemouth later this year.
Coronation Street signed Calum, who is best known for his role as police officer Carlton Smith in Hollyoaks in 2021.
During his time in Hollyoaks, Calum played a major role in the John Paul McQueen storyline, which saw him being abused by his friend, agent George Smith.
