Coronation Street star Geoff Hinsliff has died at the age of 87, the soap has confirmed.
Geoffrey, who was best known for his role as Don Brennan on the cobbles from 1987 to 1997, passed away earlier this week.
Helen Worth, who plays Gail Platt, said: ‘Geoff was a lovely, quiet man who will be greatly missed by us all.
‘His collaboration with Lynne Perry was something very special and they provided viewers with enormous pleasure for years to come.
