During Monday’s episode, things pick up again when Sarah finds herself locked in the Bistro with Damon after going to check on him after hearing he took a beating.
After sending all the staff home due to a broken oven, Damon jumps at the chance and moves in with him for a kiss.
Caught up in the moment Sarah enters the office with Damon, but when they hear a key in the lock, it’s Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) and Sarah’s husband Adam Barlow (Sam Roberston) who enters looking for Damon, causing Sarah to freeze in fear.
In recent weeks, Sarah betrayed her husband Adam during her secret affair with criminal Damon, but she desperately wants Adam not to discover the truth.
The Underworld worker was squirming in her chair recently when Damon joined her and Adam at his birthday dinner.
As the couple sat down for Adam’s birthday lunch, Adam told Bistro owner Nick that there was a problem with his late permit, as some residents had raised concerns.
Adam was clueless as he talked to the criminal, who had offered a free bottle of bubbly for the birthday boy.
When Maria then informed Connor (Samia Longchambon) that Sarah was one of those objecting to the late license, Nick and Adam were furious with her.

Sarah later spoke her mind to Nick and Leanne, telling them she thought their belated licensing idea was horrible.
Meanwhile, Sarah’s discomfort was compounded when it was revealed she had objected to the late license, enraging Nick and Adam and Damon reveling in her discomfort.
Will Sarah ever be able to shake off Damon, now that Damon is still close to her husband and family? And does she want that too?
