Coronation Street SPOILER: Gangster Harvey Gaskell enacts his revenge as he runs down Adam Barlow and leaves him for dead in dramatic scenes

Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow is left for dead after evil gangster Harvey Gaskell takes revenge behind bars on Monday.

The lawyer, played by Sam Robertson, finds himself on the wrong side of the villain (Will Mellor) after backing out of a deal to break him out of prison in exchange for getting rid of love rival Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths).

Once Harvey learns that Adam has handed over incriminating CCTV footage to the police, ruining his chance of appeal, he sends an accomplice to Weatherfield to attack Adam’s wife Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and her daughter Bethany (Lucy Fallon).

In the dramatic scenes, a car speeds over the cobblestones towards the two women before Adam pushes them aside and takes the full impact of the vehicle.

The character can be seen being thrown into the air before landing unconscious on the road, but viewers will have to tune in to find out if Adam paid the ultimate price for his duplicitous actions.
