A hard-hitting new story begins on Coronation Street next week, when Amy Barlow and Aaron Sandford engage in non-consensual sex after a drunken night out.
The two roommates go home together after Aaron has an argument with his girlfriend Summer, and they share a kiss while continuing to drink.
In the following scenes, Amy, visibly drunk, heads to her room and begins to undress, but admits that she is feeling sick and turns away, while Aaron continues to kiss her.
She then decides that they will have sex, and the next morning Amy realizes how far things went the night before.
The first images of the episode show the moment in which the story will unfold, after the bosses revealed last week that they would address the issue of consent in the episode, which will air on March 3.
