Coronation Street SPOILER: Abi Webster could be slipping back into her old habits as she is spotted meeting up with her former drug dealer in upcoming scenes
Coronation Street’s Abi Webster could be back to her old habits as she was spotted buying drugs from Dean Turnbull in the coming episodes.
The mechanic – played by actress Sally Carman – has been a resident of the ITV1 soap opera’s Weatherfield backstreet since 2017 and new pictures have shown the soap star shooting scenes with actor Anthony Crank (Dean Turnbull) involving the pair in a drug deal.
When she first arrived, Abi was struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and left her son Seb – who was murdered in 2021 – to care for the rest of her children.
But in the years since, she’s become a reformed character, marrying street legend Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), although the new photos could confirm she’s about to head down a dark path again.
The soap is filming in Manchester and the new pictures show Abi looking delighted to see her old friend before handing over a roll of cash in exchange for a brown parcel.

Change of ownership: The couple appears to have met at a location away from the street so that the deal can take place
But while Abi seemed delighted to see her old friend, Dean himself looked nervous as he prepared to hand over the package.
After filming the dramatic scene, actress Sally – who is also known for her previous role of Kelly Maguire in Channel 4’s Shameless – smiled as she hugged her co-star.
The pair were seen laughing between takes and Sally – who was dressed in a dark blue jacket with her blonde hair tucked away from her face – beamed as she wandered around the location.
Last year, Abi had a one-night stand with Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) and became pregnant, giving birth while on drugs.
While she and Kevin were initially divided over her betrayal, the couple reunited.
The troubled character initially abandoned the baby, but dramatically changed her mind and eventually named the little one after her late son’s favorite teddy bear.
In the months following the reveal, Imran died in the aftermath of a car crash, leaving Kevin and Abi to raise the baby.
Tragic: Abi has been through a lot since her son’s death and could fall back into her old ways

In real life, Sally is married to Coronation Street co-star Joe Duttine, who has played taxi driver Tim Metcalfe for more than a decade.
The couple started dating in 2018 and eventually tied the knot in 2022 after COVID caused them major delays.
The pair started out as friends before getting together and recently, when asked if it was difficult working together, he admitted that it was actually all ‘good’.
Of ITV’s Lorraine, he said: ‘We’re good at that though. I don’t think we would work well together. It would be a bit strange!’
