Coronation Street fans think an affair between Ryan and Carla is ‘on the cards’ after she offered him a job during Monday’s episode.
Carla (Alison King) has been supporting Ryan (Ryan Prescott) since he was the victim of an acid attack earlier this year and they have built a close bond.
Viewers couldn’t help but pick up on the chemistry between the two when Carla offered Ryan a job at the Underworld textile factory.
Ryan accepted Carla’s offer and the duo shared a beautiful moment together.
Fans think Ryan could be Carla’s new love interest after it was confirmed her husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will be leaving the soap later this year.

Ryan was recently crushed after discovering that his friend Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) had catfished him while texting him while posing as his former love interest Crystal.
The barmaid had posed as Crystal to spare him more pain, after the latter secretly told her she wanted nothing more to do with him after his horrific acid attack.
After discovering the truth about Daisy and Crystal, a furious Ryan struggled with his emotions, especially as he and Daisy began to grow closer and even shared a few secret kisses.
