Coronation Street fans have convinced themselves that they have figured out who will be the next victim of notorious assassin Stephen Reid.
Soap fans took to Twitter after Friday’s dramatic episode to share their fears for Michael Bailey after he confronted Stephen over his factory lies.
It comes after it was recently confirmed that Stephen will drown his next mystery victim, as the killer is set to strike again, according to Mirror.
Michael (Ryan Russell) seems close to exposing his co-worker Stephen’s web of lies after discovering that he had not told the truth about a meeting for an American deal.
During a tense confrontation, Stephen (Todd Boyce) assured him that he had only backed out of the deal because he had found a better deal with Rufus Donahue.

But when Michael tried to renegotiate better terms for the original deal, Stephen was left in a difficult position because Rufus had ordered him to break the deal.
Rufus had warned him that if Stephen didn’t give him exclusive rights to Nippersnapper, he would tell people that he had been drugging his boss Carla (Alison King).
With Michael unaware of the dangerous position he finds himself in as he threatens to expose Stephen’s lies, fans of the ITV show took to Twitter to share their fears for his safety.
Sharing his opinion that he was next on Stephen’s kill list, one person wrote: “Mikeys is just asking Stephen to kill him.”
While another warned: ‘Stay away from Stephen Michael’, and a third tweeted: ‘Michael is basically digging his own grave. Poor boy, I’m going to miss him.
A fourth predicted: ‘Michael is next on fire on Stephen’s list. Can come.
And another added: “I think we just saw Stevens’ next victim, Michael.”
The latest twist comes after Stephen drugged his boss Carla in an attempt to take over Underworld and tried to end her life by gassing her apartment in her sleep.

Stephen has been obtaining LSD through Rufus in an attempt to make Carla appear unstable, allowing her to take over the factory.
Later, in an attempt to cover his tracks, Stephen lied to Sarah, telling her that the Americans had backed out of the contract.
