A teenager has died after being stabbed on a popular beach – while police searched for the knife man.
Emergency services were called shortly after 5:40 p.m. Sunday to Pacific Street near Corindi Beach, about 16 miles north of Coffs Harbor in NSW.
A boy, 16, was found at the scene with a stab wound to his thigh.
Police administered first aid to the victim before NSW paramedics arrived and took over.
The boy was rushed to the Coffs Harbor Health Campus, but died soon after.

Police have launched an investigation into the stabbing and have established a crime scene on Corindi beach.
Detectives have spoken to a number of people on the beach and searched the area.
