Cops arrest ‘prostitute’ after Georgia dad, 42, ‘overdosed’ was found wrapped in a carpet

The case of the dead husband and father of five, who was found in an abandoned Louisiana lot wrapped in a rug, centered on two prostitutes who police say helped cover up his death.

Tiffany Ann Guidry, 26, was arrested Friday for illegal disposal of remains in connection with the disappearance of Nathan Millard, 42, on February 23, according to an arrest report.

Guidry was wanted along with Tabbetha Barner, 33, who has not been arrested, for prostitution and failing to seek help in Millard’s death.

Millard, known for being a ‘daddy girl’ and family man, was found dead, wrapped in plastic and a rug on a Baton Rouge highway after he reportedly collapsed from an accidental overdose on March 6.

Before his death, he had stumbled upon the two alleged prostitutes while “looking for something to make him feel better,” including “a girl to take up to his room,” an arrest warrant says.

Tiffany Ann Guidry, 26, was arrested Friday for illegal disposal of remains in connection with the disappearance of Nathan Millard, 42, on February 23, according to an arrest report.

Millard, who was from Walton County, Georgia, was the father of four teenage boys and a seven-year-old girl and was on a business trip to look for a potential job location for his Conyers-based company Advanced Construction.

His wife Amber previously told WSB TV that he had FaceTimed her that night from the Louisiana State University basketball game.

She said there was no text from him when she woke up the next morning, which was unusual for the family man.

Amber also said police told her they had surveillance video of a person withdrawing money from their debit card at an ATM near a Greyhound bus station.

After the basketball game and drinks at the pub with his client from work, Millard never returned to his hotel room just a few steps away. The room was reportedly not disturbed and he did not show up for a meeting scheduled the next morning.

Surveillance camera footage showed Millard leaving the Courtyard Marriott where she was staying that night with her work client.

The investigation has now revealed that the family man died after reportedly engaging in prostitution and drugs.

Derrick Perkins, 45, was initially arrested March 14 in connection with Millard’s death on charges of property damage, three counts of access device fraud and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He was accused of using the decedent’s debit card and was allegedly seen driving a stolen 2004 Toyota Camry near the crime scene.

Perkins, who is a suspected drug dealer, later told police that Millard was involved with four prostitutes the night he disappeared.

The dealer said he picked up Millard and two prostitutes, known as C and LM, and took them while they got high.

According to the arrest report, a homeless man known as JW introduced Millard to one of the prostitutes, who was black, shortly after he was taken to the Greyhound bus station to withdraw money.

While at the station, Millard refused an employee’s offer of help and went with JW to find a prostitute to “make him feel better”.

The two introduced Millard to Perkins and drove around in the dealership’s Toyota while getting high.

Millard then went to Circle K with the prostitutes around 4 a.m. to withdraw money. He then threw the prostitutes inside and told Perkins that he wanted a ‘white girl’ in her place, according to the report.

Surveillance footage from Circle K was the last time Millard was seen.

Derrick Perkins, 45, allegedly disposed of Millard's body. He told police that he took Millard to prostitutes, gave him drugs and waited for him while he had sex.

Perkins then drove to pick up Guidry, who was nearby. But Millard was still dissatisfied and asked for more women. The dealer then went to pick up Barner at his house.

The four headed to a house on Lorri Burgess Avenue where Perkins claimed he waited outside when the others used syringes, according to the report.

‘They were all up there doing that shit. I don’t fuck with that sh*t,’ Perkins told police.

They then sent Perkins to a local store to use Millard’s credit card to purchase undisclosed items. When she returned, she waited outside while the three of them had sex.

Soon after, Barner told the dealer that Millard had died while they were in the house. Barner was quick to take an overdose-reversal medication, known as Narcan.

But despite the drug and CPR, the three failed to revive him.

Instead of calling the police, the three allegedly took matters into their own hands and wrapped Millard in the carpet where he collapsed onto and threw him into the Toyota.

Her body was then disposed of near the 2900 block of Scenic Hwy and was found days later by an unknown male, who smelled the odor of decomposition while driving down the road.

Meanwhile, Perkins allegedly spray-painted the car’s bumper, removed decals and changed license plates when news of the father’s death broke. The police accused him of trying to ‘disguise’ the car.

He then sold the car and then burned it down.

Under questioning, Barner told police that she had never met Millard. She claimed Perkins picked her up on Feb. 23 in a “panic” over “Narcan,” according to her arrest report.

Barner told investigators on March 14 that he tried to get into the Toyota but there was no room due to scattered clothing in the back seat and a “white female” in the front seat, the report said.

Milliard’s phone was found not far from his hotel after preliminary discoveries turned up footage of him walking through the city.

Footage released earlier this month showed Millard walking down Florida Boulevard in the Louisiana city after leaving Happy’s Irish Pub when an employee interrupted him for being too drunk.

From there, Millard went to the bus station and was then reportedly seen wandering the area on multiple surveillance cameras, including with an unidentified man.

Millard’s toxicology results are still pending.
