“I just want a normal life – a nine-to-five job, an eight-to-six job, just a day job, but I keep getting turned down.”

It comes after it was revealed that Cassie has been offered a six-figure salary to appear in the latest season of SAS Australia which premiered on Monday night.

A source has revealed ahead of this week’s premiere that the failed gym owner is one of the ‘highest paid actors this year’ A new idea.

The rest of the cast, which includes footballers, reality stars and Olympians, will take home a fraction of Cassie’s salary.

Most contestants will receive $30,000 to take part in grueling physical and psychological challenges set by former Special Forces soldiers.

‘Cassie struggled. It’s hard for her to find a job… her CV is not for everyone,” the source said.

Despite a six-figure salary, Cassie and Balinese princess Lindy Klim left the show after just 24 hours.

Lindy struggled through the second day of the challenge and admitted she was “completely out of my comfort zone”, but said she was proud of her efforts regardless.

Cassie also left, as she couldn’t face the challenge where she had to crawl through a tunnel filled with water.

She worried that the cold, dark, cramped space would remind her too much of her time in a Colombian prison, and she refused to experience that.
