Former Geordie Shore star Dee Nguyen has shared some happy news.
The controversial reality star, 31, announced on Instagram on Thursday that she is engaged to be married.
Dee shared a post with photos of herself wearing a huge engagement ring and smiling with her fiancé Ollie Diggins.
The proposal came while the couple was on vacation in Palau, Micronesia.
The newly engaged duo were all smiles in the posts, with Dee wearing a red dress and Ollie on theme in a tropical-themed shirt.

“Two years ago I called you ‘pool boy’, then you became ‘boyfriend’ and now I get to call you ‘fiance,'” she said.
The last time Dee made headlines was in 2022, when she was criticized for mocking a disabled man’s Hinge profile in a TikTok video.
Dee, who was fired from MTV’s The Challenge in 2020 after making offensive comments about the Black Lives Matter movement, was criticized for sharing a clip of her “casually swiping through the dating app.”
In the footage, Dee was scrolling through the app when she saw someone had asked her to ‘go dancing’, before showing her followers it was a man in a wheelchair grinning at the camera.
The man in question, paraplegic artist and podcaster Kyle Montgomery, later reposted the video to his own Instagram account to draw attention to Nguyen’s “harmful, casual ability.”
Ableism refers to discrimination in favor of able-bodied people.
After his post went viral, Dee returned to TikTok to publicly apologize.
“A few weeks ago I made that stupid TikTok video… when I came across Kyle’s profile, he responded to one of my prompts saying he wanted to dance with me,” she said.

‘I scroll down, I saw he was in a wheelchair – there’s nothing wrong with that by the way – I scroll down and listen to one of his voice prompts which said, ‘If you’re not a fan of f* *ed up, dark humor , then we probably won’t get along.”
She continued: “I obviously thought it was rubbish [a funny pun] and I didn’t mean to post that video in a way that mocked him.
“So when he reached out and said he was deeply upset, I personally DMed him and said I was sorry.”
Dee then shared a screenshot of a message she sent Montgomery, clarifying that she was not “malicious” before “deeply apologizing” for offending him.
“I didn’t realize the impact of my video and the extent of the pain Kyle felt, and I truly regretted it,” she added.
“I don’t like hurting people and that wasn’t my intention.”
