Controversial women’s boxer Imane Khelif is bizarrely referenced in one of Donald Trump’s final campaign videos ahead of the presidential election.
Trump’s bid to return to power will conclude this week after a long and contentious election battle with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Just days before the election closes, the former president has made one final plea to the American public in a closing ad that takes aim at the current administration.
And those digs at Joe Biden and Harris include Khelif, who was at the center of fierce debate during this summer’s Olympics.
The Algerian boxer controversially won gold in the women’s welterweight category despite questions about her gender after being kicked out of last year’s World Championship after allegedly failing gender suitability tests.

In a video claiming that “everything we cared about fell apart” under the Biden-Harris administration, the Trump campaign shows footage of Khelif’s hand being raised at the Olympics, citing some examples.
The narrator then says, “Men can beat up women and win medals.”
Trump has previously targeted Khelif amid the controversy over her participation in women’s boxing at the Olympics.
During a recent appearance on The Undertaker’s “Six Feet Under” podcast, Trump continually referred to Khelif as a “man” after the WWE legend insisted that “protecting” women’s sports from transgender athletes was a major priority for him during the coming elections.
The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Calaway, brought his daughter onto the podcast in an attempt to show how young women are affected by the hotly debated issue.
“I think it’s very demeaning to women,” Trump said before pointing to Calaway’s daughter. ‘She wants to play sports and play against women. You don’t necessarily want to play against men. It’s okay, but you don’t want to do it.
‘Did you see that boxing match at the Olympics? Have you seen that beautiful Italian girl? [against Khelif]? She should be a good boxer. She only took a left shot. The guy goes boom. Like a defensive punch.

The former president did so again last month on the podcast of WWE legend The Undertaker
Khelif recently filed a cyberbullying lawsuit against both Trump and X founder Elon Musk
‘I’ve never seen anything like it. She doesn’t go down, she walked back to her corner and said “I just got hit harder than I’ve ever been hit before”. Her corner pushes her out again: “You can do it, you can do it.” He gives another left jab and she walks away: “I can’t possibly win.”
Khelif’s success in Paris sparked fierce controversy and reaction both during and after the Olympics, despite the fact that she was born a woman and her father showed her birth certificate as proof of her gender as a woman.
In September, the Olympic champion took an emotional swipe at US billionaire Elon Musk, a staunch supporter of Trump in the run-up to the presidential election, for leading a “vicious campaign” against her during the Games.
The the 16th round. the opponent Trump talked about during the podcast.
Despite the furore surrounding her success at the Olympics, Khelif is now ready to take the next step in her burgeoning career by turning pro.
