The Bergen-formed band has been accused of promoting extremist rhetoric at shows, with frontman Hoest appearing on stage with a swastika painted on his chest in 2007.
Concert promoter Southern Extremities issued a statement on Facebook on Friday saying the band’s 2023 joint tour with American rock band AKHLYS had been cancelled.

They wrote: ‘TAAKE/AKHLYS’s upcoming tour has been canceled for reasons beyond our control.
“Apologies to ticket holders/people interested in seeing these 2 acts, you will receive an update and a full refund from your ticket company.”
Many fans were quick to express their disappointment at the removal of the shows.

One angry follower didn’t mince words: ‘Gig of the decade, house news guys. I am also unable to refund my flights from Perth.
Another disappointed fan wrote: “That sucks, I really wanted to do it.”

They canceled their 2018 US tour after the left-wing activist group Antifa campaigned against them.
Australian Anti-Defamation Commission Chairman Dvir Abramovich said that Southern Extremities should never have hired the band to begin with.
“While we welcome the cancellation, we are disappointed that the promoters have put together the tour. This is a victory for decency and shared values,’ he told the herald sun.
However, the band have maintained that they are ‘not political’ and that their actions are ‘kidsing**’.
