Controversial MMA star Conor McGregor broke out of cover to sign autographs on the streets of Manhattan just days after being charged with assault.
McGregor, 34, was quickly mobbed by fans as he stepped out of his New York City hotel on Saturday.
He appeared to be on his way to a children’s birthday party as he was flanked by security carrying superhero-themed presents and balloons.
Wearing an all-white ensemble for his weekend outing, McGregor paired what appeared to be a $2,500 Gucci polo with matching $1,800 shorts.

While the former MMA champion looked in high spirits during his Big Apple outing, there was no sign of his wife Dee Devlin, who recently announced she is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.
McGregor went to the ground in recent days after he used to be accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the VIP bathroom at an NBA Finals game.
The woman met McGregor during the game at the Kaseya Center and left the arena, claiming his security told her he was asking for her in the bathroom.
Once in the bathroom, she claims he forced her to perform oral sex on him, spat on her, and forcibly kissed her.
The accusation is not the first to be leveled against the fighter. In 2019, the New York Times reported that McGregor was being investigated by Irish police over allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
Shortly after that came a second allegation that he assaulted a woman in a car earlier that month. He denied the allegations.

His accuser claims McGregor spat on her and himself as he tried to shake himself up. The woman’s lawyer tells DailyMail.com that she went to the police on Sunday to report the incident, but was turned down and advised to hire legal help.
Days later, she handed over the clothes she was wearing at the time, claiming they prove he had “spit” at her during the alleged ordeal.
McGregor denies the allegations. “These allegations are false. Mr McGregor will not be intimidated,” his lawyer said in a statement.
In striking new footage, his accuser can be seen sitting next to the MMA fighter at the club minutes after she claims the assault took place.
The pair can be seen holding drinks when the woman gestures. McGregor then says something unintelligible before walking away.
The images obtained by TMZ sportswas shot at about 12:40 a.m. on June 10 at the Kaseya Center in Miami — about half an hour after the woman was seen being led into a bathroom by McGregor.

According to the woman’s lawyer, Ariel Mitchell, the video shows that her client and McGregor were “visibly awkward with each other.”
She claims this was in stark contrast to how they interacted prior to meeting in the bathroom.
“My client has always stated that there would be before and after videos, and in those videos she emphasized that the difference in the interactions between them would be visible,” Mitchell said in a statement to TMZ Sports.
This is another video that supports what my client has said and supports what she has told the police since the beginning of this incident.”
McGregor has vehemently denied the allegation – his lawyer says the clip further proves the allegations false.
“While the plaintiff’s story has changed again, our account of the evening has never changed,” Barbara R. Llanes said in a statement.
“This video only strengthens our position. We look forward to the speedy conclusion of the investigation.’

The prosecution’s attorney says she met McGregor at the NBA Finals game the night of the incident. Invited by the NBA, he shocked fans by knocking out mascot Burnie, who required hospitalization.
According to legal demand letters sent not only to McGregor’s lawyer, but also to the Heat and the stadium, the woman was on her way out when McGregor’s security called her to the VIP men’s room.
After the game, and after Mr. McGregor sent Miami Heat mascot Burnie to the hospital, Mr. McGregor increased his aggressive, unprovoked and outrageous behavior by violently sexually assaulting and assaulting this company’s customer in the men’s room from the Kaseya Center.
‘Mr. McGregor, assisted by NBA security and Miami Heat Kaseya, physically allowed the victim to enter the men’s room through security, separate her from her boyfriend, and lock her inside with Mr. McGregor and his security guard.
“Once isolated and locked in the VIP men’s bathroom at the Kaseya Center, security refused to let her out or let anyone else, including her friend, enter the bathroom.
‘Mr. McGregor then appeared from the disabled stall and pushed his tongue into the victim’s mouth and aggressively kissed her,” the legal letter said.

The woman’s lawyer says she then told him she needed to go to the bathroom.
While in the stable, she says McGregor “pulled his penis out and shoved it down the victim’s throat.”
She claims she was able to get him off her but says he then spat on her and himself “in a desperate attempt to get his flaccid penis hard.”
She claims she then tried to flee, but McGregor “aggressively grabbed her, pinned her against the wall” and attempted to anally rape her.
“Fortunately, Mr. McGregor’s penis was too flaccid for full penetration, and the victim continually elbowed Mr. McGregor and eventually escaped,” the letter read.
The claims come less than 24 hours after it was revealed that McGregor and his fiancé Dee Devlin are expecting their fourth child.
McGregor and Devlin already have three children; Conor Jr., Croia Mairhead and Rian, aged six, four and two respectively.
“I’m fine,” McGregor said of his family life.
We also have one on the way. There’s a lot going on,” he said during a TV appearance in Ireland.
In a statement about the allegations, the Heat said: ‘We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, we withhold further comment.’
The UFC said: “The organization is aware of the recent allegations regarding Conor McGregor and will continue to gather additional details about the incident.
“UFC will allow the legal process to proceed before making any additional statements.”
