Married At First Sight villains Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix take the next step in their relationship.
The controversial duo announced on Wednesday that they have started a company together. The 32-year-old cosmetic nurse said she is going back to her roots.
Ellie told her followers in an Instagram Stories video that she and her 40-year-old boyfriend are starting a cosmetics company together.
“We have some really exciting news. We’ve started a company together and it’s a cosmetics company,” she told her fans.
“So I’m going back to work as an injector and I’m so excited. I literally became the CEO of the company yesterday.
‘We found a really cool space for me to work in… we’re still working on some small details.
‘We hope to open in a month, but we have to wait and see how that goes… I’ll let everyone know as soon as my booking system goes live.’
Ellie told her followers that she will be offering other skin treatments in addition to injectables. She said: ‘All the rules in my industry have changed.’

We are not allowed to say that word either [injectables] “It’s really hard to advertise certain things,” she said.
Still, Ellie seemed hopeful about the success of her new business and thanked her friend Jono who set up the whole company for her.
She added: “He’s worked so hard behind the scenes… it’s been a monster. Thank you so much Jono, you’re amazing, I love you.”

Jono and Ellie caused controversy about this year’s MAFS season, when their Cheating drama came to light when Jono was married to Lauren Dunn.
The couple have remained very close since the series ended and they recently announced that they may want to have children in the future.
During an Instagram Q&A late last month, Gold Coast resident Jono told his followers where he saw himself in five years. The answer included a family.
“We live in Palm Beach, run a business (or two) with Ellie, live in our dream house and have maybe 2.5 kids,” he said.
