Controversial Married At First Sight bride lashes out at Coles Supermarkets for a very surprising reason
Married At First Sight star Hayley Vernon has taken to social media to criticize Coles supermarkets for a very surprising reason.
The outspoken reality TV star, 36, posted to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal she was not a fan of the supermarket asking customers to donate to charity.
‘Coles supermarket is asking its customers for donations. They should donate some of their astronomical profits,” Hayley snapped.
“Instead of asking their customers, they are constantly blackmailing,” she alleged.
Both Coles and Woolworths supermarkets often ask customers at the checkout to donate to various charities, often by simply completing their purchase.
Coles donates millions of dollars every year to various Australian charities, including the Red Cross, Guide Dogs and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

Coles is said to have a turnover of $1.1 billion by 2024 The Guardian.
Hayley has built a reputation for speaking her mind on a variety of issues and came out swinging in January in return for Woolworths after the supermarket revealed it did no longer selling Australia Day merchandise.
The reality star expressed her frustration with the decision via Instagram Stories and wondered why society has become so sensitive.
‘Why did Australia boycott Australia Day? Thank God I don’t shop with them anyway,” Hayley began.
“Now I know this will be controversial to some, but at what point will we stop apologizing for the misdeeds of people many generations before us?”
Hayley said she was shocked by people’s reaction on January 26, revealing that a woman living in her apartment building had to apologize for suggesting her neighbors have an Australia Day barbecue.
‘She was afraid she was going to be attacked. FNK MADNESS,” Hayley wrote.
Hayley also delved into the rise of political correctness in society and wondered why childcare centers say ‘happy holidays’ so as not to offend people who don’t celebrate Christmas.

She also turned her attention to the recent rebranding of products some found names offensive.
“There are no more Redskins, or Chico babies. I can’t actually remember what they renamed them, but stop with all this!’
In 2020, Nestlé renamed the Redskins confectionery to Red Ripper and Chicos to Cheekies because of the racist connotations of redskins (Indians) and chicos (Latin Americans).
Woolworths, which also owns Big W, shocked the country when it announced it would not sell Australia Day merchandise due to declining demand.
Since appearing on MAFS, Hayley has launched a successful career as an influencer and performer on subscription-based sites.
