Controversial Love Islander ‘signs up for All Stars series airing next month – but his ex is left fearing he will spill the beans on their breakup’

Luca Bish will reportedly take part in the upcoming series of Love Island All Stars.

The former fishmonger, 25, will fly to South Africa in the new year in the hope of finding love, claims The sun – after its original show appearance in 2022.

On the show two years ago he met influencer Gemma Owen, 21, – the daughter of former footballer Michael – but the pair split a few months after coming runners-up.

Now the publication claims Gemma fears he will talk about breaking up the show – which will once again be hosted by presenter Maya Jama.

A source said: ‘This is the last thing Gemma wants as she has spent the last year trying to keep her personal life private.

‘Their breakup was shrouded in secrecy and neither of them talked about it, but it didn’t end well.

“He hinted that he was blindsided by the breakup when she posted it online and this is his time to spill the beans.”

ITV has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Luca was accused by some viewers of controlling behavior towards Gemma during their time on the show.

After they returned to Britain, he apologized for some of his actions and revealed that he “didn’t recognize himself” when he watched himself back on TV.

He was accused of misogyny and ‘controlling behaviour’ towards the then 19-year-old, with viewers even complaining to Ofcom.

Speak with Grazia magazine at the time, he said, “She’s a strong woman, so she would never let herself get into a situation like that.”

He agreed that his behavior was controlling and went on to say: ‘There are times when I think this is not the way I behave in the outside world. Why did I do that?’.

Luca, who finished in second place with Gemma, further told the publication: “When you feel so strongly about someone and then you still end up in situations because they [producers] let’s take on challenges and throw new people in to play with your emotions and feelings – I really had enough.’

ITV announced last week that the start date for the reality dating series is just weeks away, starting on January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

The news was revealed on the show’s Instagram page, alongside a photo of an invitation addressed to ‘dating royalty’.

The white invitation with gold and black lettering read: ‘Dear Islander, as dating king you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island All Star.’

It comes after presenter Maya and ITV were forced to deny claims that the presenter was planning to quit the show.

ITV has denied reports that Maya will resign, with a spokesperson telling MailOnline: ‘We are deeply committed to Maya, a brilliant Love Island host, and we have no plans for a change in presenter.’

It came after it was revealed that Maya has become a multi-millionaire following the success of her TV career and business ventures.

The TV presenter has published accounts for her company MIJ & Co Entertainment, revealing that assets in the company have risen from £1.37 million to £1.83 million.

The star appears to have doubled her earnings as she had cash worth £1.3million in the account in the past three months, but had £618,774 the year before.

Maya split from long-term love, rapper Stormzy, in July, but the bump in her personal life hasn’t stopped her career from reaching new heights.
