Controversial influencer Sophie Guidolin is slammed for posing in a G-string bikini in front of her 13 year old son: ‘The last thing I’d want to see is my mum in a thong’

Sophie Guidolin has been criticized by her own fans for sharing a video of herself posing in a bikini for her 13-year-old son.

The fitness influencer, 34, posted to Instagram on Saturday a video of herself rehearsing at home for a bodybuilding competition when her teenage son entered the room.

In the images, the mother-of-four was seen smiling broadly and flexing her muscles in a red jewel-encrusted bikini.

When her son came in and tried to dodge around her, Sophie refused to move and instead continued to hold her pose for the camera.

“POV: Your mom is an IFBB (International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation) Bikini Pro,” Sophie wrote at the top of the clip.

In her caption, the brunette added: ‘I remember the media trying to shame me for wearing a bikini in front of my son… forgetting that I was an IFBB Bikini Pro and I was doing this as a do sports.

‘My son doesn’t sexualize my body, so why do others? This, my friends, is 13 years of hard work,” she boasted.

But not all of Sophie’s followers agreed with her attitude, with one commenting: “I promise it’s weird.”

“The last thing I would want to see is my mom in a thong, let alone post on social media that I’m okay with it and for all my friends to see,” she added.

Another naysayer added: ”It’s one thing to wear your bikini/thong on stage during a competition. I think parading/posing with it around your house is another thing.

‘You don’t wear a suit at home on the weekend, do you? I just don’t think it’s necessary. But you look great anyway,” she added.

The user responded by arguing that Sophie might as well practice her posing while wearing workout clothes instead of a G-string bikini.

However, there were plenty of fans who defended Sophie, with one commenting: ‘Your son is clearly very inspired by you. Why do people have to make it weird when it clearly isn’t?’

Others praised Sophie for her incredible physique, with one writing: ‘All I can see is hard work and dedication. Your son would be proud.”

‘You’re great! I love you and I’m following your journey!’ another agreed.

This is not the first time that Sophie has faced backlash for posing in a bikini next to her son.

In 2022, she drew criticism when she shared a photo on Instagram of herself cuddling her other teenage son, then 15, while wearing a skimpy thong bikini.

Speaking on Sunrise, Kai said he was “so confused” by the fuss and “didn’t even think about it” as he posed for the photo.

“It’s just normal now and I don’t understand why people can’t understand that,” he added.

Sophie was forced to change her Instagram caption to address the backlash after sharing the photo in honor of Kai’s 15th birthday.

‘WE LIVE ON THE GOLD COAST, Australia. Where wearing a bikini to the beach is so unusual that I didn’t even think about putting a disclaimer on this photo,” she wrote.

‘When Kai woke up, I was in the pool and yes, in a bikini (as I am most days!!!). I immediately wanted a photo, because he wanted to cycle and cycle all day.

‘Do I have a problem with wearing a bikini in front of my sons? NOT REALLY. Why? Because I am not sexualized for him, and I never have been!!!

“If you have a problem, maybe you should examine why you feel like you need to sexualize a woman’s body instead of just being a mom and her son at the pool!!!”
