Controversial influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews reveals she doesn’t let her kids eat sugar anymore: ‘How do they have this much energy?’
Ruby Tuesday Matthews has revealed to her followers that her children have stopped eating sugar.
The 30-year-old influencer from Byron Bay explained on Thursday evening that she has forced her three young children – Rocket, five, Mars, four, and Holiday, one – to give up the sweet stuff for good.
The mother of three shared a video to her Instagram Stories, capturing a moment of Rocket and Mars playing in their backyard on their trampoline and with an exercise ball.
Ruby was shocked that her two sons were so active at night.
“Like how do they get so much energy???” she wrote alongside her post.

“We don’t even eat sugar anymore.”
Restricting children’s sugar intake is very common to lower their energy levels and combat obesity, but it is not completely eliminated from their diet.
It is recommended to limit their daily sugar intake to 5 percent of their total energy intake for the day, which amounts to about three to six teaspoons per day, according to The sugar movement.

Ruby shares her two eldest children, Rocket and Mars, with her ex-partner Ryan Heywood, and the youngest, Holiday, with fiancé Shannan Dodd.
She and Shannan welcomed daughter Holiday in September 2022.
Rumors recently swirled that Ruby and Shannan had split, but the influencer quashed them earlier this year when she shared several photos in honor of his birthday.
‘Congratulations dad. We love you,” Ruby wrote alongside the adorable photos.
It comes after she was forced to deny she and Shannan had split after rumors spread that they had called time on their relationship.
It’s unclear exactly when Ruby and Shannan started dating, but in May 2021, amorous Instagram photos of the couple surfaced.
The couple announced their engagement in June of that year.
Some wedding details have been confirmed, with Ruby saying it will be a small ceremony followed by a ‘bougie lunch’ with their closest friends.
