Christie Swadling was criticized for an unhygienic act in the kitchen.
The 27-year-old influencer shared a video of herself making Nutella protein energy balls for a friend who just had a baby.
Swadling showed her 121,000 followers on her Instagram Story on Wednesday how she prepares the sweet treat, which consists of Nutella, protein powder and oatmeal.
But a keen-eyed follower confronted her when she stuck her “dirty nails” into the bowl of mixture.
“Yuck, her dirty nails are in your food,” the user messaged Swadling.
A few hours later, Swadling reshared the DMs, lashing out at the fan and standing up for herself.
“Sorry, I cook for two newborn mamas with washed hands, organic ingredients, and the cleanest kitchen you will ever see in your life… but… I have pretty long natural nails,” she wrote.
‘There’s always someone.. btw this message was actually meant for a friend, I get them daily haha babies figure out how to use Instagram before spreading hate x.’

This came after the influencer broke her silence on rumors of her split from her fiancé Joel Price, who was served with a restraining order and charged with domestic violence.
Price, 38, was given an interim Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police in April on behalf of Swadling, 27. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge of assault.
In a recent TikTok video, Swadling lies in bed without her engagement ring, assuring her fans that the couple are not separated despite the AVO.
“I can’t believe I’m still getting questions about this, but it’s about the current – apparent – rift between Joel and I,” she said in the clip.

“There seem to be two main theories publicly as to why this is. The first is that I’m not wearing my ring. The second is that I haven’t uploaded any messages or anything like that with my fiancé Joel. FYI, if you have an engagement ring, you’re not supposed to wear it in the shower, at the gym, or while cleaning. So I take it off for all three.”
‘Secondly, my partner literally works for the mines,’ she added. ‘He’s the busiest motherf***er I’ve ever met in my entire life. Sometimes he works seven days a week, 16 to 18 hours a day.
‘B***h, I don’t have time to take pictures of him. And the days that he’s home or we have free moments, I don’t f***ing want to spend them being happy with him. We just want to be present.’
It comes after the influencer broke her silence following rumoured split from her fiancé Joel Price, after he was issued a restraining order and charged with domestic violence-related abuse.

The couple began dating in 2020, until Price got down on one knee and proposed the following year.
The cases were last heard in court on Tuesday, May 14, and will be heard in the same court on August 6.
The couple often posted videos and photos together while working out at the gym and during lavish vacations, sometimes accompanied by Price’s 12-year-old son Kaden.
Swadling and Price reportedly still follow each other on social media.
