Controversial celebrity chef Pete Evans looks worlds away from his clean-cut TV days as he debuts a wild new mullet haircut
Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans has resurfaced on Instagram with a wild new mullet haircut, looking worlds away from his days as a clean-cut TV star.
The former My Kitchen Rules judge, 50, looked rough in a video for his Evolve Wellness retreat, in which he cooks burgers on a barbecue.
His brown hair was pinned up in a scruffy mullet and he sported a shaggy five o’clock shade as he guided his fans through the food preparation process.
The sides of his head were shaved and he rocked a gray T-shirt that read “Food is medicine.”
Pete’s wife Nicola Robinson was quick to congratulate him on both his new look and his cooking skills.

‘The talent level of the creator of these videos is higher than the talent level of your hairdresser! PS: Your burgers are the bomb,” she gushed.
Once a minor movie star, Pete has almost faded into obscurity in recent years following a series of controversies stemming from his belief in anti-vaxxer conspiracy theories.
After being banned for several mainstream social media sites, Pete now communicates with his fan base via Telegram, an encrypted messaging app often used by conspiracy theorists to publicize their beliefs.

Pete’s new look is a far cry from the squeaky clean image he maintained when he starred in the Seven cooking show My Kitchen Rules.
In fact, the once youthful-looking restaurateur seems to have aged decades since he retired from television two years ago.
In May 2020, it was announced that Pete had parted ways with Channel Seven after 10 years as a judge on MKR alongside Manu Feildel.
It effectively marked his break from the mainstream after years of flirting with off-the-wall ideas during his tenure with the network.

Now free from the contractual constraints of mainstream television, Pete began expressing his non-scientific beliefs about vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic on social media.
Pete was kicked off Facebook in December 2020 for sharing misinformation.
He was also dropped by 15 sponsors and companies in the space of 48 hours last November after posting a neo-Nazi meme on social media.
